Our first supplier is a group of eight jewellery craftsmen in the camp of Takriza. The group is formed by four craftsmen and four apprentices led by Anou. The Tuareg jewellery craftsmen are called blacksmiths, for their traditional work was forging metal before they specialised in jewellery. Later, other objects were added to their catalogue, pieces which would match the same criteria of quality, harmony and originality.
