Our ideas...
Fair trade aims to replace ‘’pay less’’ with ‘’pay fair’’. As we do not get any fees for our work, the supplier receives more than half of the money you send. Here is our price policy:

Our price policy is to consider and weigh the interests of all the actors:

  • The suppliers’ interests: His selling price, stable, must enable him to pay for the raw material, his employees and himself, as well as to offer the opportunity of saving. The selling price should also be competitive in order to fit the market and reach the customers.
  • The local community’s interest: The supplier’s selling price shouldn’t unbalance the local market, and thus enable him to earn 10 or 20 times what his competitors are earning for the same work. The whole community would suffer from such a practice.
  • The Customer’s interests: the customer’s price should be competitive.
  • The government’s interests: this allows the suppliers to play by their own country’s rules and the government to receive its rightful taxes… a first step towards sustainable development.

Art[É]tiQ goes beyond that by re-investing all profit – called the sustainable development margin – into the local environment.
